![]() I've just received my piranha sim after a lot of reading about it.
I checked call charges to my piranha sim from my usual 3 uk sim and it seems 3 are now charging for calls to the piranha 07418 number, it doesn't come out of inclusive minutes. Not sure about other operators, maybe they will follow suit. It is still useful to have a US number for incoming calls which is very cheap to call but inclusive calls from friends/family in UK from their mobiles would have been ideal. Overall the features tested so far work very well. Will report back after my trip to US later this month. |

![]() I wonder what the logic is? Pahanha numbers resolve as Telecom North America Mobile Inc. Not some dodgy Crown Dependency like Manx Telecom or Jersey Telecom.

![]() yep, 07418 (I suspect 07481 was a typo!) Truphone also uses UK numbers, but some networks penalize these operators, I ran into that. it's probably illegal price discrimination.
