![]() so here is there response, apparently using Telus/Rogers again...
"we use Bell and Telus networks in Canada, you should have no issue using your handset for Data on either network. There is no price difference in networks. For best results please make sure your handset is set to Automatic search." Piranha Admin |

![]() I thought that the TMO's version supported 1900mhz HSPA as well.
Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II - Full phone specifications My concern would be that you probably don't have 850mhz HSPA and could have spotty coverage. |

![]() The UK numbering range used by Piranha is assigned to Telecom North America (Telna). Does anyone know what the relationship is between Piranha and Telna?
Do they share the same platform and do they experience similar reliability issues as Telna did (or still does)?! Mobile phones: iPhone 5, Blackberry 9900, Nexus S, Samsung S3322 duos Mobile data cards: Huawei E587u-5, Huawei E583c, Huawei E160 Postpaid SIMs: CA: Fido, Wind; INTL: Telna Prepaid SIMs: DE: Fonic, Lidl; AT: yesss!, bob; UK: O2; US: AT&T; RO: Orange, Vodafone; FR: b&you, Lycamobile; NL: Lycamobile; BE: Lycamobile, Jim Mobile; CL: Entel; MX: Telcel; INTL: eKit Blue, eKit Yellow Dead SIMs: too many to list |

![]() It has an expiration of 420 DAYS!
And somehow a minimum balance of £1.00 is involved also. They answered my question: Quote:

The Piranha Sim only expires after 420 days of non use and only after the customer has been given 14 days written notice, if one call or SMS is made during this time the 420 day cycle starts again. Piranha expect the customer to maintain a balance of no less than £1.00 at all times. The information posted would suggest the card expires after 420 days regardless of usage. |

"It has an expiration of 420 DAYS!" you do not mentioned the fact that if the card is used once within this time the 420 day cycle starts again and therefore your post could easily be misinterpreted as expiry after 420 days, regardless of use. |

![]() So let me get this right as long as I use my card once in 420 days it will stay active, and I can then get another 420 days before it would become inactive again.
Sounds reasonable to me, my last Orange pay as you go sim was terminated in a lesser time than that, 259 days when I did not use it and they took my £25 balance. |
