Unfortunately I can't help you with the unlocking problem and I think it will be quite a problem to find someone, who still owns the required hard- and software for unlocking such an old phone.
But be aware, that besides the form factor back in the days SIM cards worked with a potential of 5V, while current ones need 3.3V. Unless your SIM card is 5V-compatible, it won't work in such an old phone.

terminals: Samsung: Galaxy S5 DuoS (G900FD); BLU: Win HD LTE; Nokia: 1200; Asus: Fonepad 7 ME372CG; Huawei data: E3372, Vodafone R201, K3765, E1762;
postpaid: O2 on Business XL; prepaid: DE: Aldi Talk, Lidl; UK: 3; BG: MTel, vivacom; RU: MTS; RS: MTS; UAE: du Tourist SIM; INT'L: toggle mobile
VoIP: sipgate.de (German DID); sipgate.co.uk (British DID); ukddi.com (British DID); sipcall.ch (Swiss DID); megafon.bg (Bulgarian DID); InterVoip.com

Well I have multiple SIMs. How do I find out which support that voltage? When did that change-over from 5 V to 3.3 V take place?
