![]() My big issue with UM is their lack of communication with their customer base. A simple heads-up email about the now closed 423 network and the new 44 issues would have helped a lot.
Even Yackie did a better job keeping us in the loop... ![]() Hey gang-
Wow! Back in the US and needless to say I don't quite know what to make of the bizarre turn my thread has taken! I can only surmise that somewhere there was a special sale on grouchy pills! ![]() For those of you evidently so upset with how I spent my time in Zurich, let me reiterate that my total investment timewise was something like one hour and change. And my reward was successfully getting my large balance transferred from my +423 sim to my +44 sim. This is something I had been unable to do any other way. Moreover, I'm lucky enough to be in Zurich almost weekly for my job. Normally my free time there is spent hiking, biking, and general sightseeing. So everyone so upset that I took an hour or so out of my own time to fix this UM issue, please go ahead and relax. More to the point, I thought that my little field trip might be an entertaining read for the many UM users that frequent here. Frankly, I had fun if nothing else just riding around a new part of Zurich I hadn't seen before! Warm regards, Kupe |

![]() Yes I would highly encourage you to drop by the UM offices- but be warned if you do I will give you infinite grief for wasting your airport layover in that fashion! ![]() But seriously- I have pretty thick skin so no worries. More to the point- if you really have time- it is sooooo easy to get to UM. From the airport, follow the signs to the Bus stops out front. Look for Bus 759 - direction Kloten Obstgartenstrasse. This is a very short route- the third and final stop is what you want. Less than 10 minutes from the airport. It's an office park complex and UM is in Building 27 at Obstgartenstrasse. The bus lets you off practically at their door. Take the elevator up to the 4th floor and ring the buzzer. Good luck! Kupe |

![]() Despite all the troubles you've been in, i hope your stay in Zurich turned out good. Well, you've encountered a lot of hassle with your SIM card but in the end, you were able to do something about it. Nice one.
