They UM+ cards always work when newly activated, but they die one or two days later. This may be the case for your card in France.

Mine is still dead, while it was ok at the beginning. Only 089 works, nothing else.

So you can make and receive calls? Hmm ... lucky you ... mine was called inactive again the day after activation, while online it is still marked active.

There was some problems with some activations. Mine was the same...worked the first day and the following morning it kept saying (like others posted) the card was inactive when I try to make a call and incoming calls were not coming through. Anyway, a quick call to UM customer service fixed that. They had to access the system and reactivate mine. So, if your is still not working, you may want to call them.

Thanks for the tip. I was actually waiting for them to resolve the problems for all affected, but finally I've sent them a quick mail last night, and now it works again.

Generally, I've had positive experiences with SE phones regarding call-back functionality. The SEs T68i, T610, K700i and V/Z800i all work automatically with call-back. The Motorola W220 also works well.
