Country: | 07-06-2007, 04:18 Well, I tried sending a txt to my phone, it worked instantly. However, since I got the new sim I have not been able to get a call connected to it. Has anyone else had this problem dialing the UK cell number directly? I get nothing but dead air on 2 different calling cards. My balance is 0.00 but I wouldnt think it would matter if the incoming calls are suppose to be free like texts. Anyone know for sure? **EDIT** Im thinking its probably because my balance is 0 and the sim is located in the US where there is roaming charges associated with incoming calls. |

Country: | 07-06-2007, 10:05 Before this morning I was getting dead air too. It actually rang and went to VM this morning, so I figured something must have changed. Went ahead and put the sim in my phone. Well, they have put the balance from my old sim on there (Why wait till one had to ask though?). Calling the DID still rings busy though. So, the reason for the dead air is because the balance is 0.00. Edit: Made another quick test call to the IOM # which I answered. The roaming charge was $0.60. Country: | 08-06-2007, 14:01 Yes. They are sending out new sim cards. You may want to read the entire thread to get the jist. In a nut shell...the new sim cards are partially functional (what's new?). The DID is not working, the screwed up the transfer of sim credit from the old sims (corrected mine after back and forth emails), the web is non functional, customer service are still clueless, etc. So, there... Country: | 01-07-2007, 13:56 Is anyone'e DID functioning yet? I just called mine this morning...still busy signal. Just want to make sure I am not the only one. About a month ago, they were supposedly loading the DID information on the sim cards. Well, I guess they are still loading it. I have dealt with all sorts of companies. I am yet to come accross one as unreliable as yackie! Sim cards: AT&T (Contract), 3 UK, Piranha Mobile |
