![]() Simquadrat is operated by sipgate, one of germanys biggest VoIP providers. It runs on e-plus GSM network.
The SIM is prepaid, it offers a LANDLINE phonenumber for in- and outbound calls, the user does NOT get any mobile number allocated by now. - This means you need a valid german adress to order the card. Calls cost 9ct/min to german networks, 12.9-39.9ct/min for international calls. there is NO roaming fee inside the EU - so free inbound calls and the same rates apply. options which can be booked inside germany: flatrate to landlines: 9,95€/month flatrate to all german networks: 19.95€/month 1 GB data: 9,95€/month (no data possible without data package!) Thailand: truemove (phone+sms+wifi) International: xxSim+372, toggle +44/+49/+41/+31 Phones: Huawei Mate7, Huawei P9 |

![]() The 28-day counting will be reset as soon as you register on the home network in Germany (eplus) again.
Anyway as simquadrat currently assign only geographical numbers (a novelity in Germany where subscribers usually primarily get mobile numbers) and since German law requires holders of geographical numbers to have a geographical relation to geographical numbers' area codes a German delivery address is mandatory. Also the limited recharging options (direct debit through German bank account or credit card) may be an issue for non-residents since I fear simquadrat won't accept credit cards issued by foreign banks. postpaid: O2 on Business XL; prepaid: DE: Aldi Talk, Lidl; UK: 3; BG: MTel, vivacom; RU: MTS; RS: MTS; UAE: du Tourist SIM; INT'L: toggle mobile VoIP: sipgate.de (German DID); sipgate.co.uk (British DID); ukddi.com (British DID); sipcall.ch (Swiss DID); megafon.bg (Bulgarian DID); InterVoip.com |

Do the 28 days count from the last log-in into the German network, or from the first log-in into a foreign EU-network? Realistic scenario: I use Simquadrat on 01 June in Germany, then switch it off, and on 01 July switch it on again somewhere in the EU but outside Germany. Just wondering, but I guess IŽll be able to test this scenario very soon ![]() |

![]() I am afraid the Simquadrat SIM card is not accessable for non-Germans. Simquadrat includes a fixed net number. According to German telecommunications regulation fixed net numbers are bound to a a corresponding city due to owner's registered street address.

![]() Simquadrat just updated their flatrate tariff: For 19,95 Euro/Month you can now call unlimited to all networks in Europe and Switzerland. Quite a good deal i would say.

![]() Good offer.
A small limitation not really important for many. Just to avoid unpleasant surprises: Valid for calls from Germany to Germany and to the other 27 EU member states plus Switzerland. Does not include calls from Germany to Norway (12,90, 14,90 / min), Iceland (12,90, 14,90 / min) and Liechtenstein (12,90, 17,90 / min). |
