Does that sound about right? I went to the nearby Vodafone shop and the lady put me on the Smart 12 plan with 1 GB, 60 minutes and 60 SMS.

Did the price include the SIM card or anything else?
It appears that SIM card prices in spain went up sharply. If I remember well two years ago I paid EUR 15 for a Movistar card, including EUR 10 air time credit, and a Yoigo card cost was EUR 15 and included both air time and 500MB data.

The Smart 12 with 1Gb, 60 minutes and 60 sms costs 14.52 VAT included
I don´t know how much does it cost the start package
It is renewed every month if you have enough credit.
You also have free calls and sms to other SMART users.
This tariff is best known by Vodafone YU
