![]() Vodafone Germany today announced some news regarding their Websessions tariff:
the good ones: Websessions, that offered 24h of unlimited internet access for € 4.95 to prepaid and postpaid customers until August 31st will still cost € 4.95/day. So the price will not be raised to € 7.95/day as stated previously. the bad ones: For prepaid customers Websessions will from now on be limited to 1GB per session. Also instant messaging will be blocked for them. International Websessions, that grant a volume of 50MB for 24h for a couple of countries, remain unchanged. By that T-Mobile's dayflat, which is billed by calendar day instead of 24h, has gained some attractiveness for high-traffic-users again, since they do only limit bandwidth from HSDPA to UMTS speed after exceeding 1GB of traffic per day. However Fonic, who will start a dayflat for € 2.50/calendar day on September 15th, will be the cheapest dayflat by then.
