UM+ Voice Mail

I know about the problems when the phone is turned off, but I usually leave mine on anyway, so while in Germany and Belgium the past week I tried to set up the voice mail. I tried dialing 077 on the phone to no avail. I would often get the call back but when I answered only silence. Anybody have some words of wisdom?

I mainly was using the UM to UM feature to keep in touch with a traveling companion. That worked fine, as did a couple quick calls back to the states.

UM has stated that voicemail will not be available for a while..I think in August they gave a period of 2 months.....

I guess I misread that -- I thought it was the voice mail problem when the phone was off would be fixed in a few months. Need to work on my reading comprehension skills
