I've been investigating this recently and I thought I'd post a couple of interesting links here.

Greece: I had some helpful advice from "a swiss geek in Athens" - which he posted on his blog:

As far as Greece is concerned the blog is not accurate. There are actually 2 options for prepaid mobile Internet (proper) in Greece.

The first option is a TIM Free2Go or TIM Card SIM. These have Internet via GPRS at 6.14 EUR/MB with charging per Kb (although that might have changed to per 10Kb recently).

The other option is the Vodafone Mobile Internet Prepaid package. It costs 43 euros for the SIM (with 43 euros of credit included) with usage charged at 4.20 EUR per MB, in steps of 10Kb. This is a DATA ONLY sim.

Do you know whether you need an address in Greece to get the vodafone data SIM? I'd be on a yacht, so that would be difficult.
