Then you dial 011, the country code (51 for Peru, for instance, or 359 for Bulgaria) and the local number. If someone is there and awake to answer at the other end, you can talk to the other side of the planet -- for whatever it cost you to make a call to Iowa." I don't know how long the link will work, but you get the gist of it. FYI, my U-M Liechtenstein cell phone number was not recognized. |

 1. Free to mobiles in the countries selected...find that hard to believe. 2. Can you call say Liechtenstein (+423) on this...question asked for obvious reasons. | |

Country: | 14-10-2006, 19:16 Sorry I didn't read the end of the post where it indicated the +423 was not recognized... Just tried it to call my UK mobile number....number was not recognized so I suppose it won't work to European mobile which means that while it is indeed a good deal...international rates to landlines from the US to European landlines have dropped so low that it is just one small further step...not that that makes it a bad deal in the slightest! |

Country: | 14-10-2006, 19:51 It is very good for people that live in the US and use their cell phone for international calls. Otherwise they would have to use gorilla mobile or similar services. |
