Well, I had a nice long talk this morning to a CSR in Boston.
He seemed quite knowledgeable and said they had had a meeting to explain things to them. When the weather was bad they could work from home. The TOSes will all be changing to three months. Quote:

It appears you are based in U.S. Question, why not switch to T-Mobile as your carrier which includes unlimited intl. roaming data and text and 20¢/min. voice calling.? (Free when on wifi). Good in 120+ countries. If I asked you this before - grant me a pardon for being redundant. A/o Oct 20, 2013 no need for intl prepaid as T-Mobile U.S. includes voice roaming at 20¢/min (in and out)., unlimited text (in and out), and unlimited data in 140+ countries. My Plan -[6 lines] U.S. T-Mobile unlimited minutes (incoming and outgoing), unlimited text, fast data on each line. that $145/mo. total! . (In U.S. no surcharge for calling a cell.) If a line exceeds 2G of data in a month, pay $10 more for that line. [That only happens a couple times/year. |

More of a tester than a user. Although I started out in 2007 with the need for such SIMs, it has been a while since I have been able to get out of the country. Now, mostly playing around with the SIMs for their ability to use both AT&T and T-Mobile networks in the USA. I don't even use data. |
