![]() I would like to thank the moderators for keeping the forum safe from spammers.
All the subforums were lit up with new messages. All all spam. |

![]() Yes. Thank you mods.
I wonder if it's possible to give a few senior members the ability to quarantine spam or other questionable posts so that a mod can view those posts and take more permanent action. SIMs: CA Fido/Fongo • AT A1-B.free • Google Fi R.I.P.: UM • UM+ |

![]() Yes. However that only seems to notify moderators. It could be hours before one of them sees it and takes action. My idea is to let qualified users quarantine the offending post so it is no longer visible to general users. This would defeat the purpose of the spam ASAP thus (hopefully) reducing the incentive for spammers to post them in the first place.

![]() That could be a good idea.
I'm not often on the forum lately, and I update the website even less, unfortunately ![]() Andy does a good job here on the forum, but most of the time he's alone and I arrive some hours later (sometimes days). I think some old-time users which are often present on the forum and living in different parts of the world, could help; I'm mainly thinking at: - dg7feq and/or inquisitor and/or Motel75 from Europe - DRNewcomb and/or Bossman and/or stu and/ora rfranzq from the US All these people are long time users with quite a lot of messages and are often online. Bylo too is a very old time user, with less messages, but if you think you could help there's surely no problem by me. Before "upgrading" to moderator some of these people I prefer if some of you can tell me if you'd like that "upgrade" or not.
