![]() Planning to travel I ordered a truphone sim for my ipad1. Well let me tell you from day one nothing but grief. PDP authentication errors in my home Australia and after rebooting pressing numbers buttons and standing on my head and 3 hours on the support calls it worked !
I then travel to Singapore, not a Truphone location but charged 8.10 per M. Hello here we go again PDP authentication issues galore and with All the failed attempts the credit is eaten away as each attempt charged at 100k. So I'm charged even though I couldn't access a single website ! Needless to say I have given up on truphone and binned their product. |

![]() A lot of these so-called international sims are just crap shoot! I have been through several of them. I had issues with tru recently in Jamaica. See this thread.

![]() I've found Tru to be fine for calls and data in UK, US, Australia, and some European countries, though a bit expensive outside their core 3 countries.
But no serious technical issues, just need to get the right APN for data. have used in a Mifi device, but not directly in a tablet |
