![]() Now that the power struggle with Vivendi for control of PTC/Era is over (with a cash payment from Deutsche Telekom to Vivendi), Era is going to be rebranded T-Mobile:
The Warsaw Voice However, in what is now pretty much standard proactice in rebranding, the "fake" MVNO Heyah will remain a separate brand, and the Era prepaid brand, Tak Tak, will be kept under T-Mobile. Before the URL switches on the 5th, T-Mobile.pl provides rebranding info: Era zmieni się w T-Mobile Former DE: Vodafone, T-Mobile, O2, Blauworld, 01051mobile, Solomo, Lycamobile, Simyo, Congstar, Fonic, Edeka Mobile, Lidl Mobile; PL: Heyah, Era, Virgin, Sami Swoi, Orange, POP, iPlus, Carrefour Mova, Telepin Mobi, Play, Lycamobile, T-Mobile; UK: Vodafone, T-Mobile, Virgin; US: T-Mobile, AT&T, Lycamobile; CZ: Vodafone, Oskar; ES: Lebara; GR: Vodafone, Wind; UA: Vodafone; IL: Orange; TR: Turkcell |

![]() And at the same time Plus (Polkomtel) is being sold, with only two bidders remaining:
Only two left in race for Polkomtel - report | Energy & Oil | Reuters However, I'm guessing Vodafone will exercise its right of first refusal and buy the company; if it does, we can expect another rebranding soon. ![]() Some news:
Today at the conference Era, soon to be T-Mobile PL, revealed their new offer. For us, prepaid users changes are not that significant, but there are some things worth noting: - There will be no changes concerning account validity times ![]() - New packet: 2000 minutes to all T-Mobile users around the world, including T-Mobile USA, and Orange UK (since they are merging with T-Mobile UK) for 9 PLN, active for 7 days - There will be probably a 'roaming/international' packet, although I'm not 100% sure (I didn't grasp if it will be available in prepaid offers, but I think it will - I'll edit this post when more accurate info shows up). 30 out- or incoming minutes for 9 PLN valid in the whole EU (including networks other than T-Mobile). The same packet can be used for international (EU) calls from Poland. Minutes can be exchanged for SMSes and MMSes at 1:1:1 rate. Validity time: 14 days, maximum 3 such packets per month. - New starter pack: "Tak-Tak Między Nami" ("Between us") - 2 SIMs valid for one year with unlimited calls between them (maximal call duration: 30 minutes). No info about the price yet. Whole offer should be available 5.06.2011 at t-mobile.pl website ![]() |

![]() The website changed over to T-Mobile at exactly midnight. However, the offers seem to be largely the same as before, with the same annoying validity times.
