My initial post on this thread was in regards to a statement made by Base. Maxroam stepped in stating they now carry an alternative product.
Why are they still offering a SIM card soon to be deactivated?

Cubic Telecom/Maxroam claims to be a licensed "Mobile Network Operator". I doubt it's true.
None of institutions contacted have records of Cubic Telecom being "licensed".
Unless Maxroam can provide tangible information I (including others here) will continue to believe it's a lie. It goes directly to their credibility.

Maybe Pat (Maxroam) could tell us if something is going to happen with Maxroam SIMs based on the +32 platform. Will they be deactivated as stated in this topic OR are these Classic SIMs to be transfered onto a new platform if necessary?

You've made some interesting points, but don't take your failure on this point as a good reason to get carried away.

Let's concentrate on facts rather than speculation, as I'm sure I've said before.

It's possible that if you contact a couple of hundred or so, or perhaps rather fewer, you may find yourself obliged to retract this remark.

Until then, speak for yourself but don't assume you can include any other persons or this forum's policy in such sweeping statements, viz:

Mr Phelan is not lying to us about this.

I apologize for including you in my reply. Stealth MNOs are not something common in my world.
There must be a good reason for you to believe they are now a fully licensed carrier. But until we know where and and how I will stick to the FACTS. Once the mystery is cleared I will gladly retract myself.

Facts speak for themselves. I was dragged in a shambling story involving actors associated with roaming cards. It took a mere 4 months for us to get partially paid. During those 4 months I had to investigate when it finally became obvious Tellink was at the epicenter of this mess.

Anyone associated with Tellink is guilty to my eyes. The single fact that Base SIM cards are still being sold by Maxroam is alarming.

I wish Mr Phelan could respond on this particular point instead of claiming he 'officially" owns something remaining mysteriously unofficial.

Also bear in mind that there is absolutely no trace of Cubic being licensed or registered as spectrum owner.
You can email me or PM me if you have related information.
