I think 4G-technology is still in a very early stage of development. Against the background of missing terminals it's odd to promote a commercial launch, especially when basic services like voice have just recently been specified and first test calls took place only days ago. There's an very interesting blog of Martin Sauter, a telecom engineer and book author, who shares his thoughts and provides detailed explanations at: WirelessMoves
Regarding the digital dividend, 3G and 4G were proven to interfere with DVB-C and DVB-T (see Google Übersetzer). While that issue can be solved for DVB-T by narrower frequency filters in receivers, there's no other solution for DVB-C than skipping the relevant spectrum for cable broadcasting. postpaid: O2 on Business XL; prepaid: DE: Aldi Talk, Lidl; UK: 3; BG: MTel, vivacom; RU: MTS; RS: MTS; UAE: du Tourist SIM; INT'L: toggle mobile VoIP: sipgate.de (German DID); sipgate.co.uk (British DID); ukddi.com (British DID); sipcall.ch (Swiss DID); megafon.bg (Bulgarian DID); InterVoip.com |
