![]() I actually incurred a 3 MB charge a couple of days ago, when I exceeded the 25 MB limit...sister did a little bit too much surfing while hooked up to my laptop. I was charged 15 pounds for that overage. I thether daily but watch it closely.
No. I did not activate anything. AFAIK, all virgin UK, and most other UK sims are data enabled by default. I have had the sim for at least 5 years, and it has been data enabled since day 1. Heck! My MTN Nigeria sim is data enabled, and I was going to sign up for the daily plan of 50 MB for $3, until I realized I was only being charged 30P per day by virgin. ![]() I wonder if it's a loophole that's Blackberry specific, as maybe there is a different network configuration for Blackberry vs regular phones.
I've ordered a free Virgin sim and will be trying with a Windows Mobile phone when in France. If it is a loophole available to all it will be amazingly good value. |
