So in the Czech Republic it's 49 cents a minute to call a land line and 84 cents a minute to call a cell phone. Incoming calls are free.

So a 10 minute call to a cell phone is .84 x 10= 8.40 +35 = $8.75. Thus a 10 minute call is .875 cents per minute.

Thanks for the quick response...I thought the surcharge was a one-time fee, but per Telestial's website, one of the footnotes (the one below ** Service in Japan...) states the following:
"There is a $0.35 USD per minute surcharge when you make a call to a cell phone (does not apply when calling to a US or Canadian cell phone)."
Any thoughts?
