![]() Just a data point -- may not be useful as Three Like Home is going away soon, but it may be useful to whatever replaces it.
To recap: I bought a UK Three data SIM for an upcoming trip to London this summer. I also had a trip planned to Hong Kong (where I am now) and thought it would be nice to use the SIM while there. I bought a couple of GBP 10 top ups online, registered the SIM at my3.three.co.uk, activated the top up and converted it to a "Broadband Light" (1GB) add-on. Well, I'm now in HK and everything seems to be working. I have an unusual problem in that about every 3rd time I connect I can't use any webmail (gmail, Yahoo) and some websites won't come up. I disconnect and reconnect and it usually works. Sounds like three has a server in farm that is misconfigured or something. Also, when I log on to my3 it doesn't show any data usage. I doubt I'll actually use 1GB in my short stay here, so I am not too worried. Now this is they way things ought to work when traveling! |

![]() There's no technical problem at all, but when you can't access webmail there's just no censor available to check what pages you are requesting.
