I have an easyroam card works fine, free incoming. There are af few other ones but with many you have to look at the small print as some of them have minimum usage fee per month, others have a ratio between inbound and outbound, so receiving to many calls and making just a few, means you will be disconnected.
As these terms are hidden in the small print read them carefully before buying a sim. |

I share your concerns about recharging either. However, suggest you consider the initial cost of the SIM and compare it to a new purchase.
If you are going to mulitple countries, you will want an international card. If you will be in one country predominantly, you might consider a SIM for that country. After reading the new reply in the above post it seems United Mobile might be coming through with new plans. I will just wait and see what it offered.

I have a Telestial (EKIT) Passport SIM. Lots of countries with free incoming calls. They cost $29 with $10 of air time.
