Will post a review on how the combination works when the watch arrives.

Yes, multiple models came out in the last couple of months: CECT M600, M700, M800, M900, W100, W100+ for triband GSM, SMS M500 for quadband GSM (very expensive), and the CDMA multiband F88 (uses CDMA RUIM SIM cards not commonly seen in the USA). I will try the M800 on several local and callback sim cards when it comes in and see how it works.

@YackieMobile ... I do not know what it is, but in Hungary my number is not availabale from the T-Mobile network it works from Pannon. I was hunting in Slovakia yesterday and YM was not to reachable in the Orange and the T-Mobile network. Please take at least a look about this issues.

Merry christmas to all!

As wrote earlier, YM works well on T-Mobile and Vodafone in Czech Republic. Good luck.

@meir ... I am not writing about logging in into the different networks, my YM does this as well and I can make calls out, but I am not reachable from callers wich use Orange SK or T-Mobile SK or T-Mobile HU and this should be investigated by YackieTech.

Are they trying to reach you by dialing a Yackie assigned local number or by an 09 number? I wonder if it makes a difference? Maybe the systems in question don't recognize one or the other.

...mike

Make use of T-M's UMA/wifi free calling from any place in the world with access to wifi. I use an LG G6, wife an S7)
A/o Oct 20, 2013 no need for intl prepaid as T-Mobile U.S. includes voice roaming at 20¢/min (in and out)., unlimited text (in and out), and unlimited data in 140+ countries.

My Plan -[6 lines] U.S. T-Mobile unlimited minutes (incoming and outgoing), unlimited text, fast data on each line. that $145/mo. total! . (In U.S. no surcharge for calling a cell.) If a line exceeds 2G of data in a month, pay $10 more for that line. [That only happens a couple times/year.

@snidely ... I am watching this "phenomen" since a few weeks. If one of my customers/friends from Germany is calling me from his cellphone they can reach me on the 09 number (+354380...) the system does connect through. As well as the DID number (in my case a London landline). Customers or friends which are trying to reach me from Hungary they just can call my DID without problems, if they try to reach my 09 number they just can call me from the Pannon network, calls from the T-Mobile network will be cannceled by the T-Mobile network system. Same problem in Slovakia, no call are going through the Orange or T-Mobile network. I tried to call my self using my Pannon SIM connected to Orange and T-Mobile as roaming user and all calls to the 09 number has been blocked. This is something that should not happen cause the SIM is useless if I am just by landline calls to my 09 number are reachable.

Just got the watch phone in the mail today. The Yackie Mobile sim definitely works in the phone. When powered up, the phone initially says "emergency only" for about 10 seconds until the sim chip authenticates on the 1900 Mhz AT&T USA network, then AT&T shows on the screen. 2 brief test calls worked successfully. Only unusual thing is when you get the callback an option screen asks if you want to answer the call or send it to voicemail.

This unfortunately won't solve the network problems you are having in Europe though, that is a network issue Yackie or 09 needs to solve...

Will put a full review in the hardware forum later on.

Default difference in announce rates and charged rates - 26-12-2007, 23:12

To get back on topic (more or less)...

From my logfiles (Call made from France to Belgium)

2007-12-26 17:57:25 321467xxxx BELGIUM Herentals [Fixed] 3 60 0.49
LegA 33655051231 FRANCE SFR [Mobile] 0.25000
LegB 321467xxxx BELGIUM Herentals [Fixed] 0.24000

1 minute at $0,49 (the column header shows USD)

but on the ratepage:
You call from : France To : Belgium Land Line : $0.35 /mn
It doesn't say that it's USD, but it should be, because in the logfiles, it's also USD.

* So, why this difference?
* US$0,24/min to call a fixed line in Belgium ???

Okay, it's a free card, but if they are charging the same to their paying users, ... hmmm
