Excellent idea!

A few months ago, I put forward the idea of starting a wiki for all sorts of telecoms information on another forum (niftylist) that I visit. One was started (using Drupal) but unfortunately it hasn't gone down that well. I think it will work better here for specific information like on country operators, especially for countries from which ppgsm has many fans.

By the way the software Drupal is quite nice as it somehow brings together the best atributes of Forum and Wiki. (e.g. You can have forum type comments at the bottom of every page... though this is probably standard in a lot of wiki s/w)
