![]() Hi
Are there international cards that have the option to select the language of the voiceprompts? The 2 newest (Maxroam and Yackie) don't have this option AFAIK. In Belgium we are used to that because we 3 official languages (Dutch, French, German), besides English, what is understood well by businesspeople and the younger generation but not by all the people above (lets say) 40-50 years of age... So people who use it for leisure, might benefit from this. The 3 carriers (Base, Mobistar and Proximus) have the possibility to select a language, so it's technically possible. ![]() I guess you mean DE (=German) and not GE (=Georgian), or it would be quite unusual!

It's a pet peeve of mine with local sims although I understand its my limited English centric view point of the world But your English seems very good and I think almost all the internatinal cards I know of (Estonian, Icelandic) do allow English prompts and give it as an option up front. |
