The language is German and from the little (very little I might add) German I understand it is saying this is the mailbox and then repeats the number and basically says, I think, that you are unavailable and to call back later.....pressing either * or # does no good; as they said you will have to call to activate voice mail from your handset and it does not seem possible to personalize the thing by calling the number and using the temporary password they put on the sim card carrier.

No...I understand...the point is I would like to set it up by calling the number, pressing the # key, entering the temporary pin code they sent and set it up that way...calling the voice mail number from the USA is too expensive and it would probably cost at least a 2 minute call...what they did wrong here is they sent everybody the same temporary pin number and are not allowing this...in the past you could set up UM voice mail by calling the UM number, pressing #, entering the last 4 digits of the PUK code as the temporary pin and setting it up...the current system was set up not to allow this.

As for the Voipbuster rates -- I know the website lists more, I'm just reported what was deducted from my account. It may be that they don't realize (yet) that the IoJ numbers a mobiles. Its funny -- I was checking my CallBackWorld call detail: When I was in Germany last month I used it to my T-D1 number and I was charged as a callback to a landline. Not complaining |
