![]() What happened to the days when Roaming SIM cards just worked?
If you have a IOM/CallKey based SIM card it just doesn't work at the moment and no-one can call you, not even leave a voicemail. If you have a UM +423 SIM it just cost too much for people to call you If you have a UM+ SIM most callers will thing your number is out of use everytime your phone is off or engaged If you have an 09 Mobile SIM it very hard for anyone to call you since these numbers always seem to be network busy when someone calls If you have a Yackie Mobile SIM (IOM/CallKey or 09 Mobile versions) when has it ever worked as it should If you have a TravelSIM card the only problem i have is it is too pricey |

![]() Ah it's a relief to be roaming with my standard UK o2 SIM card! Works fine at least for Europe (on MyEurope Extra).

![]() If you have a Celtrek SIM it works great! (and wonderful customer service)
If you have a Hop Mobile SIM it works great! (most of the time) If you have a Mobal SIM it works great (but VERY expensive)! |

![]() I have read all complaints about no coverage at the moment, my son is in Scotland with a gt-sim purchased from Hong Kong through gt-sim.com.au. Would the coverage problems experienced with other sims affect his gt-sim also. I am getting no reply from their 24/7 online technical support either by phone or email.

1. Go into A T mobile UK store and get a T Mobile UK sim card (very cheap, they post them for free I think and charge a couple of quid in the stores). Then have him check http://www.yourcallworld.com/payg/ca...ntry=Australia I do believe that T Mobile UK rates to other UK mobiles are among the cheapest within the UK. or 2. Have him check out Orange Call Abroad. Sim card is free, I think but he'll have to check that Australia is on the list of places he can call very very cheaply. Also I am told Orange coverage is better than T Mobile UK. or 3. Have him go into a Carphone Warehouse and check out Mobile World. Again the sim card is free and he need only pay for minutes. However, while calling while in the UK is cheap, I don't think Mobile World allows international roaming yet or will in the foreseeable future. Both T Mobile UK and Orange subscribe to the eu tariffs so calls within Europe will be relatively cheap too. |

![]() Orange does have better coverage than T-Mobile in Scotland. I think the Orange Call Abroad rate to Australia is 6p, very reasonable.
Hardware: Too much but notably iPhone 5, iPad Mini Retina LTE, Moto G LTE (N.A. version), iPhone 4. All unlocked. |
