![]() BTW you can't operate the card without having a German bank account. I bought one at a Lidl supermarket.
You can get the inactive SIM at the checkout. You have to register it yourself by calling a toll-free number or using their website. I used the internet method in the late evening. The SIM was activated the next day. I don't know exactly how long it took them because I only take one cellphone with me when I go to work. But when I got home it registered. Their rates inside Germany are really great. The rest is standard German prepaid fare. And you can't buy any recharge cards. Every recharge must be debited from your bank account. They also have an automated recharge of at least 10 Euro every month that you can disable easily in the account managment on their website. |
