![]() My friend will be studying abroad next spring. If she gets an unlocked gsm phone, which sim should she go with that will have the best coverage in Chile? Also, decent rates to call other Chileans and more importantly, those back home in the US. Help appreciated!

![]() Entelpcs
i am customer of this company by over 8 years and never had problems, the services are excellent by that reason almost the half of the Chileans have phone with this company. well Entelpcs not have restrictions for do international calls in movistar should wait 3 months for access to international services, the rates are same here is the calling party pays since the year 1998 when entelpcs started operations, and well the callings tariff is at second if call 30 seconds will just get charge by 30 seconds, in Edge&GPRS is by KB but too if use 30 kb will just get charges by the 30 kb used. For international calls here we have an system of multicarrier, that is is many companies for do international calls and too witht his have differents rates, by example if want use EntelChile carrier should dial 123 0 1 state code phone number the tariff is by seconds too but is other carriers here just choose thems by dialing the prefix in the case of entel carrier 123. the networks here are GSM 1900 PCS system WCDMA 2100 CDMA AND TDMA ARE NOT IN USE . Voltage is 220-50hz and well if have more questions can just post in here. greetings infoad |
