![]() Have read several articles that on an eu web site, some telcoms that have not adopted the eu tariffs have had their reputations smeared
![]() Among those prominently mentioned were O2, T Mobile and Vodafone in the UK; although I think they have mentioned the new tariffs; they were cited for failure to notify the eu of their new tariffs (I think they had to be announced by 31 July to be in effect by 30 August for those who opt in and for everybody unless they opt out by 30 September, subject to correction if I'm wrong. Interestingly enough, I have seen no mention by Virgin Mobile UK and Orange UK of lowered roaming tariffs. Have I missed something? |

I don't think either Orange or Virgin Mobile have done anything yet. |

![]() This is a table of the Italian situation...
![]() I think only Wind and (maybe) UNO Mobile respect the law at 100%. The good side of Vodafone and UNO Mobile is that they added some non EU countries as well, like Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway, IoM, Jersey, Guernsey and Andorra. Deceased Prepaids: CZ: Oskar, Eurotel; SK: Orange; DE: E-Plus, Aldi, Simyo; GE: Geocell; AM: Armentel; PL: Heyah, Plus; LT: Tele2; LV: Amigo; EE: Elisa; UA: Kyivstar; NZ: Vodafone; INT: UM, UM+, ICQSim. ![]() When I called Vodafone Greece CS on Tuesday (31st July, one day past the deadline) they had no idea what I was talking about but said they had heard "roaming charges might be reduced after September, it has not been decided".

Of UK networks, Virgin Mobile has not yet provided info to the EU, but the others are not in default http://ec.europa.eu/information_soci...k/index_en.htm |

![]() Here's the article I based the original post on:
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/ap/fn/5022285.html Perhaps I misunderstood....perhaps the link Andy posted has been updated since then... But no matter what, what's going on with Virgin Mobile (nothing on their web site yet either)... |

![]() I keep hearing about this EU "name and shame" website showing compliance around menber states. However, search as I might, I have been unable to find it, and the URL is not given in any news reports I've seen. Anyone know it?
