Quad-bands are better and T-MO offers a bunch of those. 850 is highly recommended for US nowadays. Many of these QBs are also available in EU and Pacific.

You're right of course but I'm not entirely happy with the relatively inexpensive quad band phones most of which are made by motorola...I'm more partial to nokia phones but understandably it's a personal matter but many others have spoken about deficiencies of motorolas as compared to nokia.

Agree about how unfriendly the Moto line seems to be. The main advantage Moto has had is that they make LOTS of quad bands. Until recently it was hard to find a Nokia quad band. The few they had were expensive.
