![]() Anyway, this might have been the same since the company "behind" the 2-SIM phone is GT: GT Phone Holdings HK Limited 1601-1603 Kinwick Centre 32 Hollywood Road Central • Hong Kong (SAR) |

The german webboards say that the first 1000 phones were built and shipped and a order of 50.000 pcs is made at the factory. Lets see how long it takes till the first models show up on the gadget websites for review ![]() Chris Thailand: truemove (phone+sms+wifi) International: xxSim+372, toggle +44/+49/+41/+31 Phones: Huawei Mate7, Huawei P9 |

Only makes sense as long as you are in countries with free incoming calls. They dont have any rates for incoming calls as you still use your own SIM card... Chris Thailand: truemove (phone+sms+wifi) International: xxSim+372, toggle +44/+49/+41/+31 Phones: Huawei Mate7, Huawei P9 |

I think GT builds up a interesting combination of products though. SIM-card own OEM branded phones callback lets see what comes next. EDIT: I just read this on the GT-Phone website: "To initialize a call, there is a charge of sending a local SMS" - so 09 wouldnt work as they dont support SMS yet. .. ![]() I came across of Doubao 728 mobile handset see link http://www.mobilmania.cz/Titulni-str...0/default.aspx. It cost HKD 1600 or RMB 1400 on ebay. Very similar to the GT phone just price is less that half.

In the early spring, with an international trip coming up, I gave into temptation and ordered their quad band 2 sim phone. Weeks went by and my credit card was not charged, so I send them an email, then another, then another, then .... I received a reply indicating that they had sold out of the first sihpment; the next was "expected" in a few weeks, and I could wait or cancel. I asked them to cancel .... never heard a confirmation but they have not charged me. A couple of months later, out of curiosity, I emailed again asking if the new shipment was in and whether they were shipping again. No response. Finally this month I asked if the phone was out there, and could they direct me to any web site reviews if they were aware. No response. Caveat. |

![]() According to GT, the first shipment of these sold out completely at the end of January. I wonder who, exactly, has them as I have yet to see a single review anywhere. The next shipment is due at the end of March.
