I ended up getting a Virgin Mobile UK SIM and using the GPRS and www.fastmail.fm 's SMS service, through SMTP. You can set your originating SMS number to whatever you please.
USD 0.12c/SMS. Receiving SMS on Virgin Mobile seems to be free. |
