Check out the new feature on the UM site..... My account. Register and you are supposed to be able to review your account including supposedly individual calls/billing. My phone is at home. They send an SMS with a registration code. Then you can continue.

I just tested it now, it's nice, I saw all the calls I made and received (also the free ones) in these last days in Slovakia and Hungary. It shows you the complete number you called or you've been called from.


Working Prepaids: IT: Wind, Vodafone IT, UNO Mobile; SM: Prima; UK: 3, Virgin; INT: TravelSIM, Truphone.
Deceased Prepaids: CZ: Oskar, Eurotel; SK: Orange; DE: E-Plus, Aldi, Simyo; GE: Geocell; AM: Armentel; PL: Heyah, Plus; LT: Tele2; LV: Amigo; EE: Elisa; UA: Kyivstar; NZ: Vodafone; INT: UM, UM+, ICQSim.

Just received an email from them announcing the new service. I did not like giving them my credit card # and other personal info.

Was also a little surprised at the id and credit card request. Provided both because a credit card on file would be convenient for quicker refills (old system was cumbersome), and a thread from a few weeks ago mentioned the 2004 Swiss Law requiring telephone companies to register prepaid sim card holders. Didn't do the auto-refill though, because don't travel quite enough to make that feature worthwhile to me. Glad they added the on-line call details. Now if they can just drop their North America and Bermuda rates a bit for visitors, and add data capabilities B)
