When I last I last recharged my +423 SIM it was still Riiing and I was able to buy ?15 recharge codes online. Now taht it is United Mobile, the smallest recharge purchase I can find costs ?25. I remember that there was a thread dealing with this issue shortly after Riiing was folded into UM, but I cannot find it with a search. I think I remember that there were eBay resellers who were offering lower value recharge codes. A search last night on eBay.USA and eBay.de did not turn up anything. Is it still possible to find recharge vouchers/codes for less than ?25?

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, with the disappearance of Riiing into UM the au site is no longer able to provide recharge services. Their email to me follows:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for your enquiry.

As a result of recent changes in the commercial arrangements with United Mobile, the operator and supplier of the RiiiNG service, we are unable to provide the recharge service any more.

To recharge your RiiiNG SIM card, please go directly to the United Mobile recharge page on the United Mobile web site, which is at http://www.united-mobile.com/UMShop03/recharge.asp where you can pay with your credit card online.

If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

Regards,
Customer Service
Convercom Pty Ltd

Looks like the minimum now is ?25.

Thanks but that appears to be an expired link. That seller no longer has the topup cards in his store. There are a few Riiing SIM cards still being sold, though.

Slightly OT....

Perahps this is old news, but this is from the UM FAQ. Now a recharge will extend the balance!

Q: When does the United Mobile SIM card and the credit expire?
A: SIM card and credit will become invalid if the credit has not changed for nine months.

...which means, I guess, you can simply send a text message to keep the account active especially if you are in the United States that might be cheaper than making or receiving a call.
