I tried just now and it just went through and received my confirmation right away. Only change was that I made sure my contact name matches the name on my credit card. May have just been a glitch. Even though I was informed they may only acepted UK issued CC's as in the email below.

We can possibly arrange a bank payment if you require a card, but I cannot confirm this till monday
