I noticed the look of the login section changed from yesterday to today but still no login possible. My girlfriend is using the Yackie card in the US at the moment and is also very content with the usage till now. SMS are very fast and voice quality is ok (not crystal clear but goof VoIP standard i'd say). In germany the card worked well too. I will be gone for 3.5 months, and going to several different countries, so once back i could give some really good info about where it works and doesnt work. Just wondering if its too risky to try to buy it now, as ive seen some people waiting nearly a month and others only several days. |

It says right on the site, pick your free number, then it says to get a US based # I owe 36 bucks. Ok, the 49 was high enough, but now 36 more just for the number? thats rediculous, especially when advertised that its free Is something wrong with their site and its adding the cost of what it would be to buy an additional number? Or are they just blatently lying about gettin a free number? |

Country: | 09-08-2006, 14:04 Yep! All the numbers now have some cost associated with them. I checked US numbers, which are $36, and UK numbers are $45. I know there will be a fee to add an additional number to the sim, but did not read anywhere about a fee for the initial number. You are correct...the site still says "add a free number". I'd suggest you give it some time or contact Cizake to verify if they have started to charge for these numbers now. If it holds true, that pushes the startup cost of the sim (without any credit) to $85. Quote:

The reason for this charge, is they have changed their policies and are now charging for users to select a specific number. If you choose the free option, they pick whichever number (in the specific area that you defined) they can get the cheapest. Also, for shipping, they said they are shipping out SIMs this week, so everyone that ordered one and is waiting should get it soon. |

Country: | 09-08-2006, 16:41 I just tried again. One can still choose a free number for US, UK, and France. Then one can also add an additional number, in which case a fee will apply. A fee will also apply if one, instead of opting for the free(US, UK, France) number option, chooses another country's number ,or specific number from any of the free number countries as posted above.
