Not quite sure what the joke is/was in the first message.
They have changed the web interface about two weeks ago
so that when you edit the SIM there is a choice: Translation Profile with a choice of France, International, Israel, UK & US.

Unfortunately I find nothing about this on the website. I will let someone else experiment with this!
