PS: I was looking at the Toggle Countries and was shocked to see that Italy wasn't one of them.

Italy is now on the list. Must have just happened.

My understanding is that you have to call or text every 90 days even if you've paid for an annual retention of a number. I only spotted that after I ported a Gold number across so I immediately set up a reminder on my calendar to ring every 80 days!
