It took about 13 hours. This morning, at 11:15AM I started my TuYo phone and it said: "SIM card reqistration failed." I started my T-Mobile phone and received a: "Welcome to T-Mobile!" message with my new phone number. The time on the message was 8:46AM. Things I will miss about Tuyo: 1. Low international rates. 2. Ability to use balance as 'phone card.' [Red Pocket had this at one time.] 3. Interesting offers for all sorts of Latin American Holidays. 4. The online account management was nice. 5. They had a thing where people could call you using a local phone number in some Latin American countries. 6. They also had an offer of free calls to 'your country' for about $5 a month. I never really used 1 & 2 much, but it was nice to have available if I wanted to test an international SIM's international phone number. [Even Lichtenstein!] Never used 5 & 6. |
