I've also kept Mobal as a backup. The curious thing is that I've never been able to get it to work in Japan (yes, I was using a UMTS-2100 phone)

Thank you for clarifying the 2100mhz issue. No one over here would have thought that you would have thought about the WCDMA issue on your own
