Hi ygeffens.
All rates and accounts show by Yackiemobile is USD.
Probably, the problem that you report is a software or a human type mistake. You can saw some similar problem in old messages.
So, what you should do is open a support ticket. They will check and will put in order the software, the rates and your account whether is necessary.
Do that and write again when you got an answer.

I noticed when I recently traveled to Antigua, I was charged the old rate of $.49 USD instead of $.35USD. As was suggested in this forum, I opened up a support ticket with Yackie and within 1 hour, I had an email stating that they had credited the difference to my Yackie card. Now that is FANTASTIC customer service!
Keep up the great work!!

I did exactly that.
I quoted the logfiles.

The only thing I got in reply was:
"We are in the process of updating our rates. We charge for the landline call because we don't charge for the mobile line. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you."

It's not only inconvenient, I was charged to much... It's not because it's a free card, that they can overcharge, so that you have to top-up earlier.

BTW, the voicemail stopped working for me. When phone is on after a few rings it just gives a busy tone. If phone is off, it used to go to VM right away. Now I just hear some static in the background. Anyone experiencing the same? I have already contacted yackie.

I have read the reports on Yackie, just a warning. I purchase a Yackie sims in Nov. Would not ring from the US on either the 354 number or the supplied US domsestic number. It would not receive any sims text and althought it would send, and Yackie charged, the messages never were delieved. Contacted Yackie, again and agin, "we are working on the problem" and now here it is the first of year, and still the only thing I can do is use the fone to call out. Now I cannot even get to my account to see my balance.

Beware, they have taken me for 100USD.

@travel22jb

... almost the same here, outgoing call possible - incoming calls in Europe will be blocked by telco companies.

Contacted YM support, answer was "change the network".

My DID is working, but various European network operators wonīt let the call to +354380... numbers through.

I used Yackie in Portugal in the last week with no problem (only for receiving calls on my Italian DID number).

Roaming on the ONE network in Austria's been quite unreliable in the last month. United Mobile, Yackie and even O2 UK wouldn't receive calls just before New Year's. Switching networks to A1 or T-Mobile fixed the problem.

For those who have problems with incoming calls ... Please read the message I received from YM support:

>>Good Afternoon,

Our SIM does not work on every network that is available when you travel to different destinations. That's why you will have to manually select the network that will work with the SIM. If you are experiencing problems receiving a call on your 354 number than you may have to use your other number attached to the SIM. Some networks may have a problem recognizing the FREE incoming call number and you have the other number as a back up for you to receive calls in the destination at you are experiencing a problem. But yes you will have to manually select the network.

Regards<<

This is a joke ... I had to read this notice twice.

That the SIM ist not working on every network is OK, itīs also no problem to switch the networks. BUT, "If you are experiencing problems receiving a call on your 354 number than you may have to use your other number attached to the SIM.", is a bad joke. What if I donīt want to use the DID? What is if I donīt want to pay the fee for DID incoming calls, if the business plan is build on this topic then thank you very much but Iīm not using this SIM any more. If some networks have problems recognizing the FREE incoming call number, why do I as customer have to pay the costs? Why canīt you guys at YM make usable agreements with those network operators? In HU all three available networks have problems to recognize the FREE incoming number, so to witch network should I switch there? Or please let me know how to handle my issue in Slovakia? Next question, how will I know, when incoming calls will be blocked by network operators, that Iīm not available?

Iīm really pi..ed, I did wonder the whole time what the problem could be, why Iīm not available for incoming calls, why always incoming calls from the T-Mobile network are blocked, they wonīt even be directed to the mailbox! (and it is not only the T-Mobile network)

Itīs not my fault as customer that your product is still in Beta stadium so PLEASE get those things straight, cause you do advertising with the FREE incoming number and on the end of the day this FREE incoming is a charged DID number.

>>ironic-mode-on<< The way this message is written shows that you guys knew about this issue, why donīt you tell this? Oh I forgot, If you would tell it then we would know it is no FREE incoming number, excuse ... my fault >>ironic-mode-off<<
