In Germany even people working at operators' shops are - mildly said - not experts at the stuff they sell, so I'm not surprised that my friend was refused to buy a Coopvoce SIM. Actually she had her codice fiscale with her and she's fluent in Italian as she graduated in medicine from the University of Rome but she doesn't live in Italy anymore.

I'm in Sicily now and using the CoopVoce card I bought several years ago. It works well except periodically I can't get a data connection. It seems that the connection on my Android Galaxy S5 times out or goes to sleep. It shows enough bars, etc., but doesn't work. Rebooting the phone or turning airplane mode on and off gets it working again.

I suspect that there is some setting that's not right, but I don't know what it is. Does anybody have any ideas about this? |
