I'm glad to have added a couple of ideas to Martin's original article over a year ago, and to have posted PPGSM in a discussion of foreign SIMs (at his suggestion), though it wasn't added to the actual article until October or November.

Thank you again for your advice but I didn't find the article when I was browsing pages recommended by you . I was just googhlin the "global SIM" phrase in order to discover a new global SIM (possibly not-Manx :whistle: ) and voila... I did it (simplyfone and not only - haven't told here yet )

I haven't known anything about Auracall. As to Swiftnet - is this it? http://www.swiftnet.co.uk/services_index.asp. I can't see any global SIM here.
