Billing options
With Telcel Amigo you can choose up to 4 different kind of billing, as you prefer. At the activation you get the per minute (60/60)
billing and the tariff listed here above. But you can choose among 3 other different billing methods:
- Por Segundo: 1/1 billing for local calls at MXN 5.175/min (€ 0.32);
- Por Llamada: you pay MXN 5.75 (€ 0.35) for every 15 minutes of local call or call to Telcel; you pay MXN 11.50 (€ 0.70) every 20 minutes to call USA and Canada;
- Combinado: the first 2 minutes are billed at MXN 2.88 (€ 0.18) with 60/60 billing; starting from the 121' second you pay MXN 5.75 (€ 0.35) every 20 minutes.

Recharging
Refill cards are available from stores, Mexican bank accounts and ATMs can be used; there are also some US companies selling online recharges (handy to keep a card active from outside the country), such as babblebug.com and prepaidwireless.com.
Unlimited data options
There are five options to get unlimited data for 1, 2, 7, 15 or 30 days; rates are the following:
- Internet 1 día: MXN 49.00 - € 2.67 (send SMS to 5050 writing BAT1);
- Internet 2 días: MXN 79.00 - € 4.31 (send SMS to 5050 writing BAT2);
- Internet 7 días: MXN 199.00 - € 10.85 (send SMS to 5050 writing BAT7);
- Internet 15 días: MXN 349.00 - € 19.03 (send SMS to 5050 writing BAT15);
- Internet 30 días: MXN 503.00 - € 27.76 (send SMS to 5050 writing BAT30);
After the first 100MB per day (1GB per week, 3GB per month), they may drop your speed down to 128kb. Doesn't seem to be a volume limit (although speed
obviously limits the amount of data). It works in Mexico only.
