In the above quote, does this mean that with SSS each call is €0.17/min, but then on Wind12 you pay €0.16 for each call and ALSO €0.12/min???
Yes, for every call with w12 you pay 16€cent + the 12€cent/minute (6 cent every 30 seconds)

Thanks so much for the prompt reply! That 155.libero.it link isn't working for me right now, but it might be because I'm at work. If you don't mind PM'ing me the info I would greatly appreciate it.

Also silly question but is receiving SMS free between Wind subscribers? What about receiving international txts? Finally is there a web portal one can use from North America in order to send txts to a Wind subscriber?

Something else I wanted to ask... Have any of you here tried Wap/i-mode™ NoLimit for 3 Euro/month? I'm a bit confused how the i-mode thing works... Right now I use Opera to browse sites and check my email thru the Gmail WAP client. Can I do that through Wap/i-mode or do I have to go through the Wind homepage for all my email/browsing?

Sms reception is always free, actually there's no portal to send sms to wind.

Important: from 17th november the wind/wap/i-mode no limit option will die, and will be (automatically) replaced with the "new mega 10 ore", for 2€/month you have 10 hours of wap browsing outside wind's wap portal, and to enter into the wap portal you'll pay 50€cent ....

Thanks for the heads up Giuseppe. I think it says you can only subscribe to the i-mode no limit up to 12 Oct 2008, which is the exact day I fly into Rome! So hopefully I can take advantage of this. I hope they are still giving away Wind sim cards at Fiuminico

Hey guys, a bit confused about setting up my phone for Wind internet. I followed the link above (http://155.libero.it/pls/portal30/w155.confcell) and looked up settings for my Sony Ericsson w580i. I think the ones that pertain to me are WAP GSM, WAP GPRS, and Internet. Each of them involve creating a Data Account and Internet Profile in my phone for the 3 different settings, one called LIBERO WAP GSM, the second LIBERO WAP GPRS, and the last LIBERO Internet. But each of the instructions end with selecting one of these profiles to enable it in my phone. I obviously can't select all 3 profiles, so which one am I supposed to choose?

Use Libero WAP GPRS for on-phone browsing when you have GPRS, EDGE or 3G service. Use Libero WAP GSM when you have service but not GPRS or better (I assume it'll use circuit-switched data).

Use LIBERO Internet when you're tethering with your laptop, or if you have a smartphone.

You can usually select the profile to use when tethering in your dial string. You don't have to physically select it on your phone.

CA: SaskTel, Wind postpaid; Rogers, Bell postpaid iPad flex plans; US: T-Mobile postpaid data, prepaid voice; PureTalk (AT&T MVNO) prepaid voice/data; AT&T prepaid iPad plan

Hardware: Too much but notably iPhone 5, iPad Mini Retina LTE, Moto G LTE (N.A. version), iPhone 4. All unlocked.

damn just landed in Fiuminico and no Wind booths to be found anywhere outside baggage claim. I asked around and someone said their promotion had ended. Guess I'm going to have to buy my own SIM card! :P

Okay so I bought a SIM card from a WIND store on Via Nationale near my hotel. They charged me €10 (which includes €5 credit) plus €5 recharge for a total of €15. Pretty sure the €5 recharge was a trick for me to pay extra as I don't think I'll need it, but whatever.

I'm a bit confused about the i-mode thing though. The guy told me that I need a special phone for that, is that true? otherwise the data charges on Super Senzo Scatto are €0.30 per kb, is that correct?

-If you haven't a mobile phone branded i-mode you can't use it , it's true unfortunately.
-0,30 euro/kb is correct

0.30 € (30€cent) is the (old) cost to access the wap portal (and 0.03€/kb outsite the portal)
0.003€ (0.3€cent) is the price for kilobyte for internet
