Roam Mobility - International Roaming Phones and SIM Cards

See also this review: Roam free on your cell – or at least on the cheap - The Globe and Mail

Anyone have experience with Roam?

Of particular interest to me is "Lifetime UK Number & USA Number: With Roam Mobility, you get a UK number and USA number that can be used to reach you anywhere in the world. And since they never expire, you will never to need to send new contact information to friends, family and co-workers each time you travel."

They charge CA$50 for a SIM that includes CA$10 airtime. Airtime charges look reasonable, at least in comparison to Mobal and United Mobile.

Phones: OnePlus 5 • Nexus 5
SIMs: CA Fido/Fongo • AT A1-B.free • Google Fi
R.I.P.: UM • UM+

Looks okay, but I don't see any advantages of it over the eKit Passport (Plus?) SIM that has the same US + UK number features. The US/Canada rates for eKit are orders of magnitude better, too.

CA: SaskTel, Wind postpaid; Rogers, Bell postpaid iPad flex plans; US: T-Mobile postpaid data, prepaid voice; PureTalk (AT&T MVNO) prepaid voice/data; AT&T prepaid iPad plan

Hardware: Too much but notably iPhone 5, iPad Mini Retina LTE, Moto G LTE (N.A. version), iPhone 4. All unlocked.

I did not find their rates very good for Canada, $2 for outgoing and incoming calls, YIKES! Or am I overlooking something? Not that I need yet another sim card, I got two, but it's nice to keep options open

I am curious if anyone can suggest who these guys maybe using in the background...

I noticed that Roam Mobile had a few more "Free Incoming" countries than eKit did...

Just wondering if anyone is able to answer emoci's question?
