Will ask around. But from second half of year 2008, there will be possible to set up Europe wide direct debits using SEPA. Than it will be possible to pay postpaids within EU, from your local bank account like you do now in your own country.

Default World wide roaming from O2 - 15-01-2008, 21:15

As Mobilmania have announced this morning (in Czech only) http://www.mobilmania.cz/Bleskovky/T...8/default.aspx
the world data bundle is available right now from Telefonica O2 entities in Spain, UK , Czech Republic and Ireland. It will be also available in Germany from second quarter of 2008. The price is to be set as Euro 50 plus local VAT for 50 MB valid with all data roaming partners worldwide. Here in Czech Republic is this offer currently only postpaid.

1 eur/MB (plus VAT) is not that cheap, of course surely better than the 12,5 that I'd spend now with my Wind card, but it's a PAYG offer, while the one of O2 seems to be a fix monthly fee.
Why Slovakian O2 customers cannot have it? Strange...

I just checked O2 Slovakia web site as well O2 in UK and Ireland. Only in UK there are some information about World data bundle. Cost GBP 35 plus VAT. On postpaids only.

Again in the postpaid arena, but some of the Blackberry plans include worldwide data providing you connect to the Blackberry APN. If you've got Blackberry Enterprise Server, you can connect back to your home server and out. Blackberry gives away BES for single users.
