Hi,
i am just back from my rome/toscana trip in italy.

i got a prepaid tre (3) simcard from ebay, reloaded it online by paypal and activated the internetoption (50mb/day for 9 Euro/Month) online.

When we arrived in rome, everything worked perfect. i could go online, could use skype (with fring) on my N95 and could also do outgoing skypecalls via UMTS.

the network of 3 seems to be very good, i only could see it one time that it roamed on tim.

Speed was mostly better than when i used to hotel-wifi!

I can recomend the 3 UMTS Service in italy.
