Thanks, but.... I have a balance of > 12 euros and the sunk cost of the starter set. Not interested in changing just yet. SIM can be used for national (German) calls and 800 (toll free) access for using up my sunk costs on prepaid cards.

Sunsim is available at many travel agencies. This is their main distribution channel afair.
